At Quarry Stonewall Dental Centre, we are committed to maintaining your family's oral health by providing patients of all ages with safe, modern dental care.

Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

One of our dentists will conduct a thorough examination of your teeth, gums and oral cavity to diagnose problems with your teeth, gums and oral tissues. This may involve X-rays, periodontal probing and testing of the teeth.

Emergency Treatment

The most common dental emergencies include a toothache, abscess, lost filling, a chipped or broken tooth. If you experience any of these emergencies, call us right away.

2nd Opinion

You may have a complex dental situation, or you may have more than one treatment option to choose from. We’re happy to provide you with a 2nd opinion in order to give you the confidence you’ll need to make an informed decision.

Preventative Hygiene

With regular visits to our office for check-ups, cleanings, X-rays and fluoride treatments, many dental problems can be prevented or caught and treated early to prevent serious dental disease.

When a tooth has a cavity, a filling is typically required. We will prepare the tooth by removing the decayed portion and fill the cavity with a filling material to restore the tooth to its original state.

Periodontal Disease

Periodontal disease is an infection of the gums and surrounding tissues of the teeth. We’ll perform deep cleaning to help battle gum disease. Medications may also be prescribed, and sometimes surgical treatments are necessary.

Root Canals

During root canal therapy, we remove the infected nerve or pulp from your tooth, then the inside of the root is filled with a filling material to seal out any further infection. This allows you to keep your tooth rather than have it extracted.

Children's Dentistry

Children have special dental needs. In our child-friendly office environment, every effort is made to make a visit to our office as fun and undaunting as possible.

Tooth Whitening

We offer cosmetic dental procedures such as tooth whitening, veneers and bonding. Call us for a consultation to discuss your esthetic dental needs.

Every effort is made to maintain teeth in the mouth. However, sometimes, extraction is the only treatment option. Common reasons for extraction include trauma, gum disease, severe decay, dental abscess, and orthodontic crowding.

If you are unhappy with the position or alignment of your teeth, we can help. Orthodontic procedures are offered in our clinic to alleviate crowding, close spaces, improve your bite, to maintain space. Discuss your concerns with us at your next visit.

Dental implants are one of the ways we can replace one or several missing teeth. Implants are titanium cylinders that are anchored into the jaw bone to replace the root of a missing tooth. The implant is then fitted with a crown (cap) or attached to a denture to restore the missing dentition.

When there has been significant damage to a tooth, a filling may not be sufficient. A crown is a metal and/or porcelain covering that is cemented onto the tooth to help maintain its integrity. If your tooth has had a root canal, it will likely require a crown to restore it.

A bridge is a treatment option to replace one or several missing teeth, if there is a healthy tooth on either side of the space. A crown is placed on the tooth on either side of the space and attached to the artificial tooth or teeth. It is then cemented into place.

Dentures are artificial replacements for missing teeth that are removable. They may replace some or all of the teeth in the jaw. Dentures are custom designed to fit your mouth and to look and feel as natural as possible.

Mouthguards are worn during sporting activities to protect your teeth and jaws from injury. We provide custom mouthguards designed to comfortably fit your mouth.
