At Quarry Stonewall Dental Centre, we welcome new patients. Here, you can find some important information for new patients.

Your First Appointment

We recommend you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment and bring the following:

List of all current medication

Insurance information

Current and accurate health history, personal information, and consent to examination

Any X-rays taken by previous dentist, if applicable

Note: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian for their first visit. Please alert the office if you have any medical conditions that may be a concern prior to treatment such as diabetes, artificial heart valves and joints, latex allergies, high blood pressure, rheumatic fever, and more, or if you’re currently taking any medications such as aspirin, heart medication and more.

X-rays

If you have X-rays from another dentist, you may request that to be forwarded to our dental office. If more current radiographs are required, they can be taken at our clinic.

Scheduling

We reserve appointment times exclusively for our scheduled patients. We request 24 hours’ notice to make appointment changes without a fee. It is highly appreciated when you provide us with your current phone number, email address and cell number so that we can reach you.

You’ll also receive electronic reminders by email for pre-booked appointments. When you click on the link in your email it will confirm with us that you’ve received our reminder.

Fees and Payment Policies

At Quarry Stonewall Dental Centre, our primary focus is to keep our services affordable. To help make this happen, we request you to pay on the day of your visit. We offer direct billing to most insurance companies and accept cash, cheque, debit, Interac, Visa and MasterCard for any balance owing.

Continuing Care Recalls

We believe that continuing care appointments are the key to your dental success. With regular follow-up care, dental disease can be prevented, while providing you with beautiful, healthy, strong, and functional teeth for life. We’ll also let you know when it is time for your preventive care visit.

Sterilization

Sterilization is an important concern for everyone. Since our establishment in 2002, Quarry Stonewall Dental Centre has adhered to a rigorous sterilization policy for all equipment and surfaces. For any items that cannot be sterilized, they are always carefully disposed of following use. If you’ve any questions regarding sterilization, please ask any of our staff members.
